Trevor Rybicki received his Bachelor’s in Music Education degree in 2015 from Baylor University, studying cello with Dr. Gary Hardie. During his time at Baylor, Mr. Rybicki became a recognized cello teacher in the Waco area. He maintained a thriving cello studio at the Central Texas String Academy, a nationally known Suzuki school. His students there were consistently selected to participate in the Texas Music Educators Association’s (TMEA) Region 8 Orchestra, as well as receiving top chairs in their school orchestras.
Upon graduation from Baylor Mr. Rybicki served for two years as the assistant orchestra director at McMeans Junior High in Katy ISD. At McMeans, Mr. Rybicki taught classes as large as forty students and worked extensively with students of violin, viola, cello and bass.
Mr. Rybicki is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, the American String Teachers Association, and has received certification to teach Suzuki cello.
